Can you ship an item so I receive it in a couple of days?
The shipping prices listed on the site are for regular airmail
postal service. Speedier service can be arranged but it will cost more. Customers are welcome to email me or call me (toll free in North America) to discuss their shipping needs
and find out the options available to them.
How long have you been selling vintage?
I have been selling vintage clothing and collectibles online for two years.
I have been wearing vintage clothing and sewing with vintage textiles for over twenty years.
Do you sell items on consignment?
No.
Will you buy my
vintage items?
Although I am sure your items are lovely, that is not how I purchase stock items.
Can I make a credit card order over the phone?
I can not
accept credit card orders over the phone.
Can you send me a paper copy of your catalogue?
Unfortunately, no, as one does not exist.
How should I care
for my new vintage item?
I can give a customer specific care information for their item upon request. Here , though, are some general rules for vintage clothing:
1) Do not store clothing in area where it will be exposed to light or you will get fading.
2) Vintage items may be extemely fragile, investigate the fabric and type of care
it needs. Items that can be laundered should be hand washed with mild detergent and laid flat to dry. Sometimes the fabric of an item can be dry cleaned but not the adornments
such as buttons and beads.
3) If you are storing items, wrap them in acid-free tissue or fabric. Do not store clothing in plastic wraps, plastic bags, or plastic containers.
4) Do not hang fragile items or heavy items such as beaded dresses or items that are likely to stretch and NEVER use metal hangers.
Why are some items listed but are on hold or sold?
Items are placed on hold while I await receipt of money orders. If the money order does not arrive ten days after
the customer placed their order, the item is placed for sale again. Items remain on the site for a few days after sale in case the customer needs to make a return. Also, I tend
to list items in batches and remove items in batches so it can take me a few days to actually remove an item.
How often do you add new items?
It varies but you
can add your name to the mailing list to receive notification of new additions.
Can you find a certain item for me?
I can not promise that I will locate a
certain type of item for you but if you make a request, I will make note of it and contact you if I find such an item.
How can I be in the customer photo gallery?
Just email me a photo of yourself wearing you new vintage finery and include a statement of permission for me to use the photo in the gallery. I of course reserve the right
to censor the photos. Remember, folks, it is a family site so you may need to be selective about which pics of you in lingerie you send.
Where is your actual store?
Wickedly Divine Vintage exists only in cyber space. I live in a small rural Canadian town where a brick and mortar store would not thrive. So, I have chosen to share
my passion for vintage and my merchandise with the world through ecommerce.
